LPN with research experience or highly experienced CMA needed for full-time positions. Candidates must be highly motivated, willing to work a flexible schedule 7 days a week, able to work with minimal supervision, have phlebotomy experience, and willing to travel to 3 locations within the Birmingham area.

MedHelp clinics have 5 locations in the Birmingham area and we’re always looking to hire qualified medical assistants for each of our busy practices. We’re open 7 days a week: 8 to 8 Monday thru Friday, 8 to 6 on Saturday, and 1 to 6 on Sunday. Our MA’s typically work various shifts within all 5 clinics, depending on our staffing coverage and needs. We’re looking for full time, part-time/weekends, PRN, and flex. Medical Assistants at MedHelp are required to be CPR certified, able to perform a wide range of clinical duties, to include triage, x-ray, phlebotomy, routine labwork (including working knowledge of correct procedures, the order of draw, etc.) injections, set-up for and assisting during minor surgical procedures, well versed in medical terminology in order to phone in prescriptions, obtain prior authorizations and effectively communicate with patients regarding lab results, appointments, etc. Someone applying to become a Medical Assistant at MedHelp should have at least 2 years of clinical experience working in a physician’s practice or hospital setting.
