Thank you for choosing MedHelp

We’re glad you’ve chosen MedHelp for your healthcare needs. Whether you need urgent care or are looking for a primary care physician, we’re here for you.

If you believe you have COVID-19 and need testing, please call 205-306-2131 to schedule a telehealth screening.

What to expect from an urgent care visit

  1. No appointment is needed for urgent care visits.
We see patients on a first-come, first-served basis. The average wait for urgent care patients is only about 20 minutes.
  2. Complete your registration.
    Forms are available
to download and print from home, or if you call ahead, we can text the forms to your smartphone. If you don’t have time to fill them out ahead of time, all forms can be completed in our waiting room. You’ll also need to pay your co-pay or submit a self-pay deposit at this time.
  3. See your provider.
Your time is valuable, so it's our goal to keep your wait-time short. We’ll take care of any needed tests, answer questions, and provide you with the help you need.
  4. Feel better soon.
You can have any prescriptions filled on-site at our 280 clinic. We will contact you with lab results when they’re ready. To view notes from your visit or lab results online, sign up for our patient portal. If you’d like to stay with MedHelp for your primary care, call your preferred location to set up an initial visit.
