New MedHelp Clinic Opens in Pelham

New Pelham Urgent Care Clinic

You won’t have to travel far to visit us in our new building. Still located on Pelham Parkway, our new urgent care clinic is located on the site of the old Realty South building and across the street from our old clinic. Just past Summer Classics and next door to Pelham City Hall, MedHelp Pelham is easily accessible and is also convenient to Interstate 65.

We built our new clinic from the ground up to better serve our patients. MedHelp Pelham boasts 10,000 square feet of clinic space, a comfortable and spacious waiting room, 9 exam rooms, and updated x-ray equipment. Cahaba Research Inc., the clinical research arm of MedHelp Clinics, is located on the ground floor of our new clinic. You’ll also find the same great doctors and nurses in our new urgent care clinic.

Our new Pelham clinic opened its doors on May 16.

At our new Pelham clinic, you’ll find all of the same services you’ve come to expect at MedHelp. Our urgent care clinic is open to patients Monday through Saturday with extended weekday hours to better fit your schedule. Walk-ins are still always welcome for urgent care visits to our Pelham clinic. All of our urgent care patients are treated with compassion and care by our qualified providers.

But at MedHelp, we offer so much more than urgent care. While other urgent care clinics offer drop-in primary care services such as lab work and physicals, we’re dedicated to providing relationship-based primary care to our patients. You can see Dr. Wever for all of your healthcare needs, from urgent care issues such as flu and broken bones to proactive and preventive primary care. Dr. Wever is currently accepting new primary care patients.

Our clinic also features a CLIA-certified lab and state-of-the-art digital x-ray equipment. Most of your common labs, including Covid-19 antigen tests, CBC, and urinalysis, are processed in-house at the time of your visit.

And with our brand new digital x-ray equipment, we can quickly and easily diagnose fractures in-house. As with all of our clinics, all x-rays are read immediately by your provider and are overread within 24-hours by a board-certified radiologist to confirm your diagnosis. All x-rays are cloud-based and easily shared with other physicians or specialists as needed. Our in-house x-rays also eliminate the need for a separate trip for imaging or a third-party imaging bill.
