Open when you need us, even on Sunday.

Need to see someone right away for urgent care issues? MedHelp has been dedicated to providing high-quality, convenient, and affordable urgent care to patients in Birmingham for forty years. We’re here for you seven days a week, with extended weekday clinic hours.

Urgent care treatment at MedHelp

At MedHelp, we help you avoid the hassle and cost of the emergency room for non-emergency medical issues. With five urgent care clinic locations in the Birmingham area, we’re where you need us when you need us. No appointment is required for urgent care treatment, and walk-ins are always welcome.

Most visits to MedHelp urgent care take less than an hour with many of the same services you’ll find at the ER, including experienced doctors, a fully equipped, CLIA-certified lab, and digital imaging such as x-ray and ultrasound. We also offer stitches and injections, and we have a pharmacy on-site so that you can get your prescriptions filled before you head home.

Testing for COVID-19 is available at all five of our clinics. You can set up COVID testing by filling out our secure, online form. All patients with fever and upper respiratory complaints must have a telehealth screening prior to testing.

If you have a life-threatening medical need, go directly to the nearest emergency room.
